Life at Samsung
What we stand for
Samsung is founded on a simple philosophy – that the endless pursuit of excellence will create a better world for all. Our Core Values drive everything we do, and how we do it.
People
Our basic principle is that a company is its people. We’re guided by our desire to create an environment where individuals can flourish and achieve the impossible.
Excellence
We exist where passion and brilliance collide, always pushing ourselves and our colleagues to be – and do – our best.
Change
We welcome and anticipate the future, greeting change with agility and creativity. Constant innovation is our key to strength and success.
Integrity
Operating ethically is the foundation of our business. Everything we do is guided by a moral compass of fairness, respect and openness.
Co-prosperity
As an upstanding corporate citizen, we embrace the pursuit of co-prosperity with our communities and global neighbors.
We work in progress
Our belief is that a future made by all of us is more interesting. Every Samsung employee has the opportunity to participate in creating a healthy workplace culture through networking, mentoring, conferences and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), because when we thrive together, our innovation defies barriers.
Stronger together
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are our internal communities led by our employees with shared backgrounds or values. At Samsung, ERGs are open to all employees.

Randhir Agarwal
Director of Data Science
“The lesson I carry with me is simple: expertise is valuable, but it shouldn’t become a boundary. Some of the most rewarding chapters begin when you’re willing to become a beginner again.”
Jeff Heo
Head of Project Management Office Governance and Systems, Mobile Experience (MX) Business, and member of ASEA Affinity Group
“I can’t help but feel a bit amused at the irony of my situation – the Korean-American who once avoided all things Korean…now working at the most successful Korean company in the world.”

shape the direction of our careers through a learning approach that synchronizes education
with real-world experience.
