I'm loving this new form factor of phone. While it feels light in my hands and pocket, it has an expandable canvas when you open up. The anti-reflective displays make viewing content even more enjoyable with less glare. The wider form factor simply allows me to read more on a single line and save my eyeballs some up and down motions. Battery life is good too which easily last me a day and with 45W charging, it's juiced up in no time! Camera wise photos are good for daily snapshots and sith ExpertRAW you can capture up to 50MP RAW on either cameras and get photo files that are very editable!

It's been 3 weeks and I've just noticed how much I used android with samsung one ui and good lock! Design of this device impressed me first with the thickness and geaphit all chosen version look sleek and sporty but also elegant and business feeling. Front screen in use reminds blackberry retro and inner screen feels like an iPad mini but better with amoled and 120hz . Hinge can still stay 90 degree please samsung bring back flex mode by enabling it in software. We can still use even though hinge isn't designed for it.

I have been using this phone z fold 8, for about two weeks now and i'm in so much love with it. I traded my z flip 7 for this one. The best thing I love about this phone is the way I can read my books on this. Just makes everything easier. I'm an avid reader and I haven't used my ipad since I got this phone for reading or anything else. This phone just makes things so much easier. And so much fun. The biggest plus in samsung in the last 2 years are the customization. There's so much flexibility in making things both in this one. And with the amazing fold , the screen is just right size. I'm an avid reader and I haven't used my ipad since I got this phone for reading or anything else. This phone just makes things so much easier. And so much fun. I love the camera.I'm not a huge photo maniac. So for me , this phone with good quality is just right. Other than that , battery is just good because I only charge one's a day and it was last all day for me and I have been using this very intensively for the two weeks now like can't keep my hands off it I had a screen protector for the front screen. And you don't need extra screen protector for the main screen; it is durable enough. It's just that I use both the screen multiple times and then a lot of Fingerprints are left on the main screen. And I have to clean it up at least once or twice a day. But it happens when you use the phone a lot.So I have no complaints there. The amount of customization , this phone allows you to do, makes it much better. Goodluck app is your best friend. Be it brightness or lightning stuffs or notification customization or front screen or lock screen, you can do a lot more with this app. I love how different , it is when it comes to z flip. When I was using flip , I always used the hinge to take photos or talk in video call. I didn't need an extra tripod or anything else to hold. With fold I need like a pop socket or something to hold the phone. When I take pictures , especially if I wanted to use the previous screen. And regards to the sensitivity and responsiveness of the phone I have no complaints at all. And it's just amazing. Overall , I just love the phone and i'm happy with it. 😍🤩 Even though I loved my flip phone and I loved how it was so much compact and easy to take pictures with the back camera on the flex mode. I still feel like I love fold just as much as I loved flip phone. If not more. I do miss the flex mode of taking pictures , though. 😅

Design & Weight (201g): It is impressively light, making you forget it’s a foldable phone. It fits comfortably in pockets without any drag, and the 10:16 aspect ratio when folded allows for easy one-handed use just like a standard smartphone. Hinge & Display: The crease is significantly reduced, offering a smooth and sleek main screen when unfolded. The 4:3 main display delivers an incredibly immersive experience whether you're watching videos, reading e-books, or multitasking with split screen. Performance & Battery: Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, it handles heavy AI tasks and multi-window productivity effortlessly without any lag. The battery easily lasts through a full day of heavy use. Camera: Thanks to the dual 50MP camera system and ProVisual Engine, photos turn out sharp and clear with minimal noise, even in low-light environments. Highly recommended for both current Fold users and anyone considering switching from a traditional bar-style phone!

I saw the form factor and knew I wanted it immediately lol and I don't normally buy foldables. It's small and cute and an excellent conversation starter. I do wish the cameras inside were in the corner though.

This is the first time I've purchased a flagship phone after the unpacking event. I love this phone, the form is great folded or unfolded. The crease is not even visible after a couple of months. It feels very sturdy and well made. The bigger battery is nice to. I still have much to learn with the new features and I know I will enjoy discovering all the neat tricks of my new phone.

great form Factor for reading and watching content, the fact that that it is only over 200 g is a big plus. You don't feel a big presence when it's in your pocket, and holding it in hand for a long time is no longer a painful thing. Basically a powerful ultra thing and light tablet. The only regrets is that there's no telescope camera.

Samsung Z Fold 8 is a great design phone with outer screen only 5.5 inch easy to manipulate and unfold to a 7.6 inch mini tablet to consume content and watch videos. Decent battery life and very smooth oneUI 9 system. Wish next generation will add telephoto lens so can take better pictures!! Love it so much very recommend!!

Love the fold 8 wide. Now I can watch my shows and play games on a larger screen. The battery life is amazing and it charges pretty quick. The screen brightness is perfect. The hinge feels durable and you can barely see the fold in the middle.

This form factor is the best. I used fold 5. Upgraded to fold 8 now. Front screen looks small but very usable. Inside big scree is the best for media and multi tasking. I been using it for last 2 weeks and I love it.

I was on the fence when the new fold 8 was announced. Went to the store to look at it and I was sold. I received my pistachio fold 8 and the color is amazing. It is subtle and reminds me of the mint color from last year. It is so comfortable to hold and typing on the front screen is a breeze. Opening and closing the device is easy, and the crease is so much better. I can see it if I am looking for it but you cannot feel it. Too early to speak about battery life but it is lasting longer than my fold 7. Overall I am in love with those form factor, next year I would like Samsung to focus on the cameras. Only other thing I have noticed is the device gets warm at times and some games don't render well and I lose where I am. Overall I would recommend this device.

I finally made the jump to the Fold series and I couldn't be happier that I did. This form factor is perfect for my big hands, and I can comfortably type one-handed without any issues. The improved battery life is also a welcome addition, and all content, including videos and games are delightful on the inner display. It might be expensive, but if the camera system was to improve in the future, i'm sure this can easily become mainstream.

The performance is smooth, the cameras are excellent, and the overall build quality feels truly premium. Samsung has done a great job refining the foldable experience while keeping the features that make the Fold unique. I really like the screen size. The battery lasts a long time, and it’s also lightweight. It’s a pretty good phone even without using the folder. There is also no concern about screen or hinge durability. It’s been a month since I bought it, but it was a decision I have no regrets about. I purchased this year, this one is the most satisfying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been trying different foldables for the past few years but not a single one full fit my needs. I was looking forward to the fold 8 due to its wide and short form factor of 4:3 which potentially may fulfill my needs. Am glad that I took the chance to try this and it fulfilled my dream. First the wide screen allows documents, ebooks (something that I recently picked up) and etc to be read so easily. Flipping pages while reading docs and ebook feel so much like hold the real thing but at a much lighter weight. The new size also allow it to fit into both my front and back pockets easily and due to the light weight, I can't really tell it is in my pocket. Software wise, the One IU allows tons of customizations that suits the way you gonna use it. Downside is you need to spend some time to make it the way you like it. I took almost half a day to make it usable to me. Battery life wise is awesome. I often get home with 30%-40% battery life left. Thumbs up for this device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great form factor and durability. It feels good in the hands and is only as wide as a S26 Ultra, but with the benefits of having a large inner screen anytime you want. The operating system One UI 9 is highly customizable and responsive especially with GoodLock installed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could make both work and everyday life easier. The large screen has been my favorite feature—I can multitask between email, Teams, documents, and other apps without constantly switching screens. When I’m done working, it’s great for streaming, browsing, photos, and catching up on social media. I also love that I can fold it up and use it like a regular phone when I’m on the go. The performance is fast and smooth, and the overall design feels incredibly premium. The Fold8 has quickly become my favorite device I use for almost everything throughout my day! So happy to trade in my flip5 :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this let go of my Ultra 23 because I have been wanting a fold forever. The flip felt too small and I have been an Ultra girl since the note series. This phone ferls great in my hand. It feels like a mini book or even like a compact mirror. The screen is responsive. Flips through pages quickly. The colors of my videos, pictures and movies look stunning. I think the sound is louder than my S23 Ultra. My daughter complained it was too loud but not for me, lol. It's a great little phone and I can't wait until I can customize it even more. It's beautiful and sleek. I love the fingerprint sensor on the side. It responds quickly to unlock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it took a brief adjustment period to get used to the shorter height, I chose this device because it delivers easily the best form factor available. It's wonderfully compact when folded, but unfolding it into a mini tablet completely changes the experience. Videos look fantastic on the inner display, and the anti-reflective screen coating makes a massive difference for visibility. The upgraded faster charging is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, and the cameras are completely sufficient for everyday photos. Most of all, it brought back that genuine sense of excitement for mobile technology that smartphones have lacked for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy z fold 8 and I don't regret it one bit. The keyboard is nice and wide making it hard to type incorrectly. When opened the screen is amazing! Watching Netflix and YouTube on this is seriously impressive. When I want to play games I open it up and now I have a tablet, it really blew my expectations out of the water. I really like that the finger print reader is in the power button it makes more sense to have it there. This phone is way louder than my s26 was. The compact size of this phone when closed should be the new standard, it just feels more natural. I dont see myself ever going back to a candy bar shaped phone ever again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to shake things up a bit and ditch the traditional candy bar phone for a short and stubby passport style foldable. It's been 3 days and I'm loving all the tweaks and customization available in the new operating system I wish that the phone had different camera placement and included a telephoto lens. I miss the old version of the inner display's selfie camera. A tad intrusive and I don't see any use case. The speaker placement could also be better next iteration because it does not provide stereo sound when in landscape viewing on the inner screen. I wish it was $250 cheaper and I could say it was a good value, but it is a solid device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was debating upgrading from the fold 7. Ultimately I chose to upgrade to the Fold 8 because the aspect ratio and the new design is amazing. It is the ultimate daily driver. I use my phone alot to watch movies, YouTube videos, and for reading. Reading on this phone is so comfortable on both the inner and outer displays. I find that in using the inner display alot more than I did on my previous fold because the new dimensions make it feel so much better in my small hands Also, the phone is just beautiful. I love that videos take up the whole screen on the outer display and the brightness on this phone makes everything look sharper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone with a larger screen that could still fit in my pocket. I use the cover screen for quick messages, calls, and checking notifications. When I open the phone, the larger display is very useful for watching videos, gaming, studying, and doing schoolwork. I also like using multiple apps at the same time, especially when I need to take notes while reading something online. The phone feels fast, the screen looks clear, and the folding design makes everyday tasks more convenient. It took me a little time to get used to all the features, but my overall experience has been very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I pre ordered the Galaxy fold 8. I used it for around a week. The phone is great and the fold crease has diminished substantially. The screen quality was amazing and I was surprised by how long the battery lasted. I ended up returning it due to being worried of damaging it and being slightly paranoid about it not being dust resistant or having the inner screen get damaged accidentally. I say its almost there because it is "almost there." The phone is great but not having the best cameras is a big fault in a 1800 dollar phone. None the less I'm sure it will be a great phone for most people. The chose the Ultra 26 as a replacement and am more than happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this and the Razr fold to try. Both have their amazing benefits and bring what most users wanted to the market. I ended up returning the Razr for software alone. One UI is incredible and the Z Fold 8 is like having 3 devices in one. I rarely take photos but it's strange Samsung purposely set up a gen 2 with upgraded cameras. Keep us loyal at the onset! This device is amazingly light, strong, last long, has amazing screens, so easy and fun to use. Finally a phone is fun again! I got so sick and bored of the slabs and remote style. This for. Factor is perfect! Love it. So glad I chose to try this out, keeping it until gen 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Samsung Z Galaxy product user and I chose the new Fold 8 because of the form factor. The phone is the exact size of a Travel passport albeit a few mm thicker. I can hold the phone in my back pocket without it sticking out. I like that I can do most of my tasks using the apps on the cover screen because of the larger size. The rest of the phone features are what Samsung is known for. As for any negatives, I have owned previous Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Fold phones versions and have had cover screen and screen issues. Hopefully Samsung has figured out to avoid the problem in it's 8th version of the phones.

I 've been following the fold series since it first came out about 8 years ago and finally the fold was ready for me from a technicality perspective where i could buy and daily use one. The z fold 8 is all samsung promises and then some. The camera's are amzing. It does recieve quite a bit of backlash for missing the zoom lens but for most daily use you do not need it. I bought the phone a month ago and I can't stop using it. The convenience of having a tab like device where you can watch stuff and then close it into a phone form factor when you don't have enough space to hold it while doing daily jobs, just fold it away into your pocket is such an amazing flex (or fold :p) The screen is plenty visible in the sun and fitting it all in such a tiny package is an engineering marvel. It sucks though that there is no pen support with samsung pioneering a feature and then taking it away but I do feel that the usage of a pen on such a tiny screen might not be as high as it seems. My book 2 pro 360 is enough pen support with a bigger screen for that. Upgrading from an s21 to a fold8 gives me such an amazing battery bump from both capacity and charging speed perspective. Added that to the ability of endless customization via good lock app makes this the best of all worlds. On the durability perspective, I feel the phone keeps you a bit scared as you keep wondering when a dust particle would jam up the hinge. I am thinking of getting care+ to feel less anxious with that. But this is such an amazing phone. Responsiveness is so high specially with the 3nm chip in it that it feels quite flowy when using it. I love this phone and so will anyone who uses it. When it comes to the biggest gripe people have with foldables "the crease". I'd like to say that the gripe only comes if you don't own the phone as in today's day you do not feel or see it 98% of the time.

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

I've been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 for my business for about a month now, and it has completely transformed my daily workflow. The expansive display is bright, sharp, and makes split-screen multitasking effortless on the go, while the lightning-fast responsiveness ensures seamless switching between demanding apps. Its re-engineered hinge feels exceptionally smooth yet rock-solid, adding a level of overall durability that holds up to heavy daily use. On top of that, the battery life consistently powers through long, intensive workdays with plenty of juice left by the evening, making it an outstanding productivity powerhouse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. One of my favorite things is how compact and comfortable it feels when folded. The smaller size makes it much easier to hold and use with one hand, which is very convenient for everyday use. The new hinge design also feels like a nice improvement. It feels smooth and solid, and the crease on the main screen is noticeably less visible, giving the large display a cleaner and more premium look. Overall, the Fold 8 combines the convenience of a compact phone with the benefits of a large screen when you need it. Great design, easier one-handed use, improved hinge, and a better-looking main display. Very happy with it!

I have been using the Zfold 8 for a few weeks. Love the size and the aspect ratio. I do wish it had a telephoto camera. Pricey for a phone without the specs of the samsung galaxy S27 Ultra. But I am enjoying using this phone as my daily driver. Battery life is very good. Watching content on the inner screen is fantastic. Crease is barely visible and I hope it will be that way after a couple years of daily use. Overall extremely pleased with a phone that has the capabilities to be a phone and tablet rolled into one.

I bought it thinking its just another foldable and had s25 ultra and a coupon from my workplace, so went with it, but boy was I wrong, didn't like it initially, but it has grown on me, I love the inside screen and battery life is surprisingly good. I dont kmow how its gonna be in long run as after working for 5 years in cellphones, I have seen samsung foldables break in 2-3 years. However I happy for now. Buy samsung care if you wanna keep it for long, A bit disappointed they did not do 50% off warranty like they do with new launches. Overall happy, just one minor thing I downloaded a game(forgot the name) that puts it in a situation that when you launch it it keeps rotating from portrait to landscape indefinitely, but understandable for new aspect ratio device. So a good phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was instant love at first sight. Saw the announcement drop, saw the design and knew rightaway, Samsung Zfold 8 was perfect phone for me. It's compact, when folded- its compact enough to fit in my small hand and back of my pocket. When unfolded, it's a size of mini ipad where I can enjoy my shows. I can do everything on the front screen when folded without ever needing to open the entire phone. This felt like the perfect phone I was waiting for and I know I made the right decision when I chose to purchase the Samsung Zfold8. The compatibility, design, functionality, Samsung got it all right with this new Zfold8.

Excellent camera, I lile that it fills the whole screen when unfolded, so I can everything closely. 3. Solid build quality of hinge and screen (inside and out). 4. Nice small size when unfolded, easy to put in and out of pocket. 5. The performance is really good, it's responsive, and smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Fold 8 to try the new size, but I am disappointed by the losses on the camera quality starting around 20ft away. In addition, the half folds (L shape) or tent fold (A Shape), don't seem to work that well. It actually measure up well next to my Fold 3, so I turn it long ways to type better, as the wide screen makes the keyboard too long for me. I also miss the full size of the cover screen. It severely displaced my home screen and spit the icons up weirdly over the other panels. Like the left over icons from panel 1, didn't simply get pushed to panel 2? I want to see if I can switch to the Fold 8 Ultra.

I received this on Aug 3 from the store. I am amazed at what this device can do. Multi tasking and social media on this device is amazing and feels butter smooth. The new silicon battery lasts much longer than previous generations and easily lasts a day for even a heavy user. Charging th3 device is also much quicker now and given the reliability of the fold 7, this new hinge mechanism is only gonna last longer. This is the best of both worlds for someone confused between the flip or the ultra.

It was remarkably easy to set up and transfer from my old device. I think the new passport size and shape is awesome. I plan to use it to search the web to gain new knowledge of how things work, also to manage my email and for work and entertainment. I think this new development is just too cool. Loving the lavender finish. The giant screen makes watching crochet tutorials on Youtube much easier to see. I think I'm going to accomplish great things with my new handset, it has such a great camera to help me capture and share pictures thank you!!

So far so good a month in..Battery lasts all day long with decent use. Would be nice to see Sammy step up to the 6000mah batteries we see on many other devices now tho. Camera is also better than many give it credit for .. Especially for a point and shoot. Hinge seems sturdy so far but I do have mine cases with hinge protection. Both the inner and outer cover display screens are absolutely stunning..This is where Samsung leaves the competition behind..The new chip is super fast Lag free and responsive no matter how many apps are open. It's too new to know exactly how durable this device will be in the long run..But so far so good ..Hinge seems much more durable than other iterations .. Time will tell.. The real win for me is the aspect ratio and the fact that I feel like I'm getting 3 units in one..

#GalaxyUnpacked #SamsungMembers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from my previous folding phone because I knew I'd love this aspect ratio. It's a small compact phone when needed and a tablet when not. It's light enough weight to make using both modes so incredibly enjoyable. I actually end up using both screens all the time! Opened up is incredible for gaming. On such a thin device the thing is unreal. For video it's fantastic too. The big screen in my hands or propping up the small screen with it flexed part way open. It's so versatile. The matte coating is a huge upgrade too making the hinge hard to see at all. I'm incredibly happy with the Z Fold 8. I like how you can buy multiple case colors too and mix and match!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a foldable phone for a while, but did not want the candy bar format of the Fold ultra. When this passport style form factor each announced, I was skeptical. Once I saw it on person, and held it in my hands and I knew I had to have it. I chose the Z Fold 8 in lavender, which is a gorgeous color. I love this phone's versatility. Streaming, scrolling, typing, multitasking. This phone does it all well. I love both displays, the colors are vibrant without feeling oversaturated. The battery life so far is very impressive. I'm looking forward to enjoying this device on daily life as well as traveling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold 8 for the screen, and multi window is what makes it a multimedia beast. I'll have a game running on the bottom half while YouTube plays up top and messages come in alongside it — three things at once, all usable, no swapping back and forth. Unfolded it's big enough that I've stopped reaching for a tablet for movies and shows, and the colors hold up in a dark room or outside. The speakers are louder and fuller than I expected from something this thin, and the fold itself feels solid in hand. Folded, it's still just a normal phone for music and podcasts on the go. One device that covers all of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy z fold 8 from the first photo I ever saw of it! That 4x3 aspect of the screen won me over instantly. This phone redefines the concept of having a tablet in your pocket. I work in the IT field which means I handle a lot of documents and spreadsheets daily. I now only carry this device and nothing else. The battery actually lasts longer than my 26 Ultra which still blows my mind. The cameras are more then adequate for your everyday needs! If you get the chance go get this phone in your hand, you will be leaving the store with it. Oh and make sure you get a watch too you're going to want that ☺️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the Galaxy fold AGAIN, AGAIN, & AGAIN!!! I'm so glad the made a version that is more compact but with an even larger screen. I use my phone to share educational videos with my patients and the larger screen helps to prevent eye strain. The color is so sharp. My only complaint are the lack of choices for cases. It would be nice to have a case that includes a wallet or stand. This is my 3rd fold and when it's time for an upgrade I'll get another Galaxy Fold. My favorite cellphone ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 after debating on it for about two weeks, and haven't looked back since I got it in hand. Consuming media has never been better in every way of the experience. Gaming on it is extremely fun unfolded, and even works on the front screen! I love the size of it more than any phone I have ever owned, so much lighter and thinner. I no longer have to deal with the trouble of a long "brick" phone taking up tons of space in my pocket, or even hanging out of my pocket. Only regret I have is not making the jump sooner! I highly recommend the Fold 8 if you are on the fence about it, thank me later!

I'm 1 week into my time with the Fold8, and overall I've been very impressed with the screen, battery life and overall performance. The form factor is unique and when unfolded, the inner screen is amazing for watching content or multi-tasking. The price is still steep, the speakers are pretty mediocre, and without a case it does feel a bit fragile, but aside from these caveats: this is the first genuinely exciting foldable device I've used.

I was worried to buy fold type phone because I heared its weak durability from my friends. But Samsung has developed its durability with strong hinge. Battery is similar to my s24 ultra with higher brightness screen. Touch screen responsiveness is also.good. Im satisfied to its mertitasking performance. But Samsung should adjust speaker position. And I hope bigger main and cover screen to next generation. Overall, it is recommendable.

Two weeks in, the Z Fold 8 is exceptional for daily productivity and media. The outer screen is practical, the inner display is stunning with a subtle crease, and performance is flawless. Pros: Gorgeous main screen, smooth multitasking, solid hinge design. Cons: Battery drains fast under heavy use; cameras lag slightly behind top slab flagships. Easily a 4-star daily driver—just needs better battery endurance to hit a 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so glad that I chose to upgrade from the s24 to the z fold 8. This phone is perfect. The ai is amazing. One ui 9 is awesome. The outer display is beautiful. It's small enough to fit comfortably in any pocket and when I need a larger screen for games or movies, I have it. Good locks let's me completely customize it however I want. I have 5 different wallpapers running at once. The multitasking is unmatched. And u love the upgrades they did with bixby. I don't even use Gemini anymore. Added a case with magsafe and now the phone truly has it all. I didn't chose the z life. The best foldable chose me.
