[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the Galaxy fold AGAIN, AGAIN, & AGAIN!!! I'm so glad the made a version that is more compact but with an even larger screen. I use my phone to share educational videos with my patients and the larger screen helps to prevent eye strain. The color is so sharp. My only complaint are the lack of choices for cases. It would be nice to have a case that includes a wallet or stand. This is my 3rd fold and when it's time for an upgrade I'll get another Galaxy Fold. My favorite cellphone ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! A super incredible phone upgrade from the S23 The Galaxy phones have been the best on the market for years but my new Z Fold 8 is like a phone and tablet all in one. Beautifully bright and clear images and photo's, super easy unlocking without touching the screen and the technology built into this phone is out of this world ! I use my phone for work and do online training and with the large screen its a breeze but love the option of a quick call and the versatility of being able to keep it compact. Easily fits into the side pocket of my hand bag too, that's important. Love love love my Galaxy Z Fold 8 !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could make both work and everyday life easier. The large screen has been my favorite feature—I can multitask between email, Teams, documents, and other apps without constantly switching screens. When I’m done working, it’s great for streaming, browsing, photos, and catching up on social media. I also love that I can fold it up and use it like a regular phone when I’m on the go. The performance is fast and smooth, and the overall design feels incredibly premium. The Fold8 has quickly become my favorite device I use for almost everything throughout my day! So happy to trade in my flip5 :)

At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im so glad I chose this phone! I've had nothing but great experiences with it, and I'm still learning things it can do every day. I love to watch videos and this phone seems built for exactly that. Whether I'm watching the outer screen turned to the side for a quick short video, or need the cinematic experience of the larger inner screen, this device has me covered. When opened and held horizontal for apps like YouTube or vertical for apps like Facebook, the inner surface advantage comes alive. Oh, and I can reach everything with one hand now when it's closed! Can't say enough about the form factor. Great purchase 10 out of 5 stars, I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone for basically everything. I read, surf the internet and play games. My last phone was the s23 ultra for the display size and the CPU was pretty alright. But now I game waaaaay more on my phone when I'm not home and I read a lot more Manga and comics so I felt like I had to chose the fold 8. The compact size of the front is perfect for tiktok and I perfer reading fanfics and books on the front display. Inside is THE PERFECT SIZE FOR MANGA AND COMICS! It is the same size as the paperwhite 12th gen. Only downside is no pen and the inner camera should be more to the corner cause it does mess the menu in a few gacha games like HSR.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this let go of my Ultra 23 because I have been wanting a fold forever. The flip felt too small and I have been an Ultra girl since the note series. This phone ferls great in my hand. It feels like a mini book or even like a compact mirror. The screen is responsive. Flips through pages quickly. The colors of my videos, pictures and movies look stunning. I think the sound is louder than my S23 Ultra. My daughter complained it was too loud but not for me, lol. It's a great little phone and I can't wait until I can customize it even more. It's beautiful and sleek. I love the fingerprint sensor on the side. It responds quickly to unlock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the z fold 8! I chose to get the regular fold 8 instead of the ultra after having used the fold 6 and 7 for years because the wider form factor seemed like a great change and it definitely is. It makes it so much easier to browse the web, scroll social media and read the news, but it's also much easier to type on. I have larger hands and can reach everything on the screen easily but the wider keyboard makes it so much easier to type and text. I also love that the inner screen doesn't have black bars for videos anymore. I love the form factor and will be sticking with it for the long term. Easily the best phone I have ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the Z flip 5, which I have had now for three years. I loved having a smaller phone, but I also used it for it's bending capability. I planned on getting the new Z flip 8 but when I saw this model I knew it was for me. It's smaller than average phones, and of course it unfolds to a much larger screen. I've missed having a phone that I could use without opening it. Today was the first full day of using it and I used the front screen to watch some videos and slightly opened the phone so it stood on its own. Absolutely loved it. I will now watch movies on the inside screen and i can't wait. This is such a smart move for Samsung!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it took a brief adjustment period to get used to the shorter height, I chose this device because it delivers easily the best form factor available. It's wonderfully compact when folded, but unfolding it into a mini tablet completely changes the experience. Videos look fantastic on the inner display, and the anti-reflective screen coating makes a massive difference for visibility. The upgraded faster charging is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, and the cameras are completely sufficient for everyday photos. Most of all, it brought back that genuine sense of excitement for mobile technology that smartphones have lacked for a long time.

I’m so happy with my new Galaxy Z Fold8! ❤️ The design feels premium, the screen is amazing, and everything runs so smoothly. What I love most is how practical it is for everyday life. I can use it as a normal phone when it’s folded, then open it up for a much bigger screen when I’m watching videos, browsing, multitasking or managing family life. The camera is also great for capturing everyday moments, and the battery easily keeps up with my busy day. It feels like having a phone and a mini tablet in one. I’m definitely enjoying my Galaxy Z Fold8 and still discovering new features every day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third foldable phone. I used to own galaxy Z fold 2 and Z fold 5. Both were pretty good but this one feels and is even better. For me the size is perfect, you can use the entire phone with a single hand even when you are using it as tablet mode. I think the technology got pretty much improved for the foldable system, it feels smooth when you fold and unfold the phone. Although the cameras are not the ones as the ultra the photos are very good. Also you can see that the battery lasts longer as the previous foldable phones as well as my galaxy s25 ultra. So Big improvement there too. Definitely my best foldable phone so far.

When opened the screen is amazing! Watching Netflix and YouTube on this is seriously impressive. When I want to play games I open it up and now I have a tablet, it really blew my expectations out of the water. I really like that the finger print reader is in the power button it makes more sense to have it there. This phone is way louder than my s26 was. The compact size of this phone when closed should be the new standard, it just feels more natural. I dont see myself ever going back to a candy bar shaped phone ever again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first tried out the fold 8 I was really impressed. The whole thing is just a beautiful piece of tech - unbelievably thin and light for everything it can do. I chose this phone because Samsung showed up with the best foldable form factor! I use it to read emails and look at work documents at the same time, and nothing really compares when having that at the same time, all in your pocket. I'm a really busy grad student who also has a full time job, so when travelling, having a phone that can actually keep up is important. Not to mention -- you get to leave your mini tablet at home. If you like gaming and productivity, this is the phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 – A Foldable That Finally Feels Like the Future The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 feels like the kind of smartphone that makes you rethink what a phone can actually be. What impressed me most is how Samsung has made the foldable experience feel more practical without losing the excitement of having a large screen in your pocket. The new design is a huge highlight. At just 201g and 4.5mm thick when unfolded, the Fold8 is Samsung's lightest Z Fold yet. The wider 5.5-inch cover screen is much more comfortable for everyday tasks, while opening it reveals a beautiful 7.6-inch display that feels like carrying a mini tablet with you.

Absolutely fantastic phone. The Z Fold 8 folds, unfolds, and occasionally reminds me that apparently my bank account is also capable of folding. The screen is gorgeous, the performance is ridiculously smooth, and multitasking is so good that I can now procrastinate on three apps simultaneously. Build quality feels premium, cameras are great, and the whole phone screams “I have my life together” which is impressive considering I bought it mainly to show people that it folds. Battery life? It exists. Price? Also exists. Worth it? Absolutely, if you enjoy premium technology and making financially questionable decisions. 10/10. Would fold again. 📱

I love the new design form, but videos of most social media apps, like Facebook, Instagram, Ticktock, YouTube, etc, are not formatted to fit the screen of this phone, legs and heads are half seen, regardless if it's titled horizontal or vertical. Samsung needs either to make some software adjustments or get in touch with the developers of the above apps so they can make the necessary changes, specially for the new screen format of this phone. Also it can definitely use larger battery., at least 6000 mAh, another important improvement is to get rid of the camera cutoff whole opening, especially in the inner display, it definitely causes problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i chose the Z fold8 because I love the form factor closed as well as open. I use my phone for personal use and content creation. I love being able to use the phone 2 different ways. Closed for when I wanna do something super quick and open for a much better social media scrolling experience. It's also the perfect size especially for someone with small hands. I also play some emulators on my phone and having it closed gives that Gameboy like handheld experience and using it open gives the DS experience. it's very classic with a modern twist. I am very happy with the purchase, I'm just sad that Samsung hasn't done a foldable this size sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to shake things up a bit and ditch the traditional candy bar phone for a short and stubby passport style foldable. It's been 3 days and I'm loving all the tweaks and customization available in the new operating system I wish that the phone had different camera placement and included a telephoto lens. I miss the old version of the inner display's selfie camera. A tad intrusive and I don't see any use case. The speaker placement could also be better next iteration because it does not provide stereo sound when in landscape viewing on the inner screen. I wish it was $250 cheaper and I could say it was a good value, but it is a solid device.

Hello Samsung. Just wanted to thank y'all for these new Z FOLDS (8 & 8 ULTRA). Based on what i have seen and felt, if i may make ONLY 2 suggestions. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Make the z fold 9 with the same hinge as the z fold 8 ultra and give it the same camera 200mp. Other than that, I would have boughten the z fold 8 over the 8 ultra due to its size and functionality. I hope this reaches you well and have high hopes for the passport phone (z fold 8) next year. If you make this work....best bet, I WILL be upgrading to this phone for sure as this is what my wife and I really wanted until we found out the hinge, camera, & also battery life. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally was looking at the flip series and waiting for the flip 8 to come out however when I saw the z fold 8 I was sold. The features that sold me were being able to use the kindle app and having it look just like book as well as watching videos with the giant screen. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is I wish that the camera was the same as the Ultra series because not having the same camera quality I was used to from the 25 ultra was jarring and a big change. Other than that I am so glad I made the switch and I chose to go with the z fold 8 instead of the flip because the size and features are just overall very hard to beat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been part of the Galaxy Z Fold family since the Fold 4. I have used the Fold 4, Fold 6, and now I’ve upgraded to the Z Fold 8 and I am genuinely amazed by the new form factor. The Z Fold 8 is incredibly slim and feels so much more comfortable to hold in the hand. The wider cover screen is also a major improvement, and it’s perfect for watching videos and everyday use without feeling cramped. I am really glad I chose the Z Fold 8. Samsung has once again impressed me with the Z Fold series. As always, the Z Fold never disappoints! Thank you, Samsung, for continuing to innovate and make the Fold series better with every generation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Samsung loyalist for over 15 years, I’ve used every generation of foldables from the original Z Flip to the 7th gen. I chose the Z Flip line in the first place because a small, compact size is a must for fitting into my small purses. This year, I chose to switch to the Z Fold 8, and it’s the best of both worlds! I absolutely love this new design! The new, lighter design still fits comfortably in my small bags, while the larger outer screen gives me significantly more productivity on the go. Combined with top-tier performance and a gorgeous inner display, Samsung has finally perfected the foldable form factor! I recommended to all my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose a Galaxy fold 8 because the form factor is a breath of fresh air. I love the fact that the shorter slightly wider aspect ratio fits videos nearly perfectly even when folded. As an engineer myself I appreciate efficiency and the ergonomics combined with the aspect ratio is the best of all worlds. Whether it's scrolling on social media or watching a video it feels right. I've been switching back and forth between my old s24 ultra and this phone and the s24 ultra now feels too long. Definitely not for everyone but the fact that Samsung gives you the option is greatly appreciated. I do not see myself going back to a long slab phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this device after much consideration, and I have been using it for a couple of days now with great satisfaction. The overall design, weight, in-hand feel, and ergonomics are fantastic. Both the cover display and the unfolded main screen look amazing and offer an incredible viewing experience. If I had to point out a few minor drawbacks, the placement of the heat dissipation feels a bit noticeable during heavy use, and I occasionally experience slight stuttering on a few specific apps. However, these are minor details compared to how good the rest of the phone is. Overall, it is an outstanding device and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was debating upgrading from the fold 7. Ultimately I chose to upgrade to the Fold 8 because the aspect ratio and the new design is amazing. It is the ultimate daily driver. I use my phone alot to watch movies, YouTube videos, and for reading. Reading on this phone is so comfortable on both the inner and outer displays. I find that in using the inner display alot more than I did on my previous fold because the new dimensions make it feel so much better in my small hands Also, the phone is just beautiful. I love that videos take up the whole screen on the outer display and the brightness on this phone makes everything look sharper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am coming from a s24 ultra. I loved that phone but it was time for an upgrade. My carrier was doing a great pre sale trade in so I got the z fold 8 in the base 256g. The form factor is perfect for me. The size feels like my old blackberry. When I open it up it's a tablet. I'm in sales and readband sign a lot of contracts. The big main screen is the perfect size and it has made my old tablet obsolete. It allows me to do many things that would require my laptop previously. My only gripe is it isn't S Pen comparable. Maybe at some point Samsung will bring back that functionality. But even if they don't, this phone is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the perfect phone. I have had every model year of the Z Flip and several of the Z Fold. The Z Fold 8 is the perfect marriage of the two, and I chose it to replace my everyday use of the Flip. Within the first day, it became clear I wasn't going back to the Flip, which surprised me. I rarely used the cover screen on the Flip, although I had all the tools to do so. With the Fold 8, I use the front screen a lot and don't feel the need to open it every time I use it. And critical factor is that it fits in my pocket, which was a downfall with the previous Folds - too cumbersome for carrying. All in all, it's pretty perfect and I'm glad I chose it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from the Z fold 6 to the 8. I was very pleased with the 6 series and was reluctant to upgrade since the 6 series performed so well. I was surprised to find the Z fold 8 though lighter and more compact was actually the same size as the 6 when open and turned vertically. There was no perceived loss of screen size. I could stream and enjoy movies and apps with ease. The 8 series is user friendly. The picture and camera quality are exceptional. Style, sophistication, organization, and performance that does not disappoint. The Z fold 8 makes a statement without me having to utter a word. Experience it for yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could handle everyday tasks while also giving me more screen space when I need it. I use it throughout the day for messaging, browsing, watching videos, managing emails, and staying organized. The larger unfolded display makes multitasking much more comfortable, especially when I want to use two apps without constantly switching between them. When folded, it still works well for quickly checking notifications and handling regular phone tasks. The Fold8 has made my daily routine more convenient and enjoyable, and it feels like having both a phone and a small tablet in one device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I pre ordered the Galaxy fold 8. I used it for around a week. The phone is great and the fold crease has diminished substantially. The screen quality was amazing and I was surprised by how long the battery lasted. I ended up returning it due to being worried of damaging it and being slightly paranoid about it not being dust resistant or having the inner screen get damaged accidentally. I say its almost there because it is "almost there." The phone is great but not having the best cameras is a big fault in a 1800 dollar phone. None the less I'm sure it will be a great phone for most people. The chose the Ultra 26 as a replacement and am more than happy!

I am able to use the cover screen because of its unique aspect ratio. And when that is not enough for my eyes, I just open it up and have a 7.6 inch inner screen that takes care of most of my needs. The operating system is the best in the world. I have never had a phone that I can customize to meet all of my needs. This phone fits the bill! I am enjoying all aspects of it including its unique size and usability. I have taken some fantastic pictures and I am enjoying consuming content on both screens. I am a very happy camper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Fold 8 (wide) is a great new phone in regards to the external screen and internal folding screen. My only negative thought is no 200 megapixel main sensor and no telephoto lens, very disappointing on such a high end phone with such a high cost. As you will learn due to the Fold 8's high volume of sales, many people like larger phones but not necessarily folding ones. I suggest Samsung consider making a larger nonfolding phone, similar to the width of the Fold 8's external screen but also taller. Bring back the old Samsung Mega branding or call it the Samsung Titan. Again, their is a large market for larger phones especially in this day and age.

So far I find myself picking it up just to scroll, poke around, and get used to the overall feel. I've had Galaxy phones since the S3, and I decided to try this phone after watching multiple reviews and eventually getting to use the phone. The cameras could be a little better, but still take quality pics/videos. Also, the battery life seems good for the device and the compact form, but I also don't tend to use the big screen to often. Altogether if you haven't had the chance to try one out, just go play with one, and it will take you by surprise!

I ended up returning the Razr for software alone. One UI is incredible and the Z Fold 8 is like having 3 devices in one. I rarely take photos but it's strange Samsung purposely set up a gen 2 with upgraded cameras. Keep us loyal at the onset! This device is amazingly light, strong, last long, has amazing screens, so easy and fun to use. Finally a phone is fun again! I got so sick and bored of the slabs and remote style. This for. Factor is perfect! Love it. So glad I chose to try this out, keeping it until gen 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned 3 Galaxy Z Fold phones before the Z Fold 8: a Z Fold 3, a Z Fold 6, and a Z Fold 7. Although I love these phones, they always seemed to be a little too narrow and a little too tall. When I saw the Z Fold 8, I knew this was the form factor I had been waiting for, so I chose to trade in my Z Fold 7 and get the Z Fold 8. Now that I have been using it over the past week, I know I made the right choice! This phone is fantastic! It fits perfectly in my hand and the aspect ratios of the outside and inside screens are perfect for media participation consumption. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I chose this phone to replace a Fold 5. I do like this form factor. I mainly use this for day to day browsing, media, and light gaming. For me it was a good upgrade from the 5. But there are some deficiencies. The speakers are a glaring issue for me, they sound significantly worse than the 5. It is really thin and too lightweight. Without a good case that adds weight and grip it is difficult to hold on to. It does have a very snappy processor and apps respond well. Video on the inner display is were this phone shines. Crease is barely noticeable. I would recommend this phone for both new to foldables and returning users.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I’m very happy with this phone. The large inner screen feels almost like a small tablet, which makes reading, browsing the web, checking messages and multitasking much more comfortable than on a regular phone. The design is also very practical because it is still compact enough when folded. The only downside I have noticed so far is that when using the front screen, some apps can be a bit slow to respond. Occasionally I have had to close the app and reopen it to make it work properly again. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. Apart from that, the phone is excellent and the big screen experience is really impressive.

Display quality is flagship-level. The Dynamic AMOLED panel delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks, excellent contrast, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, making it easy to use even under direct sunlight. Whether you're streaming HDR content, gaming, or editing photos, the experience feels immersive and premium. What truly stands out is the new aspect ratio. The wider cover display is much more practical for typing and one-handed use, while the inner 4:3 screen feels like carrying a compact tablet in your pocket. It offers significantly better productivity for split-screen multitasking and document viewing compared to the older, narrower Fold designs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Samsung Z Galaxy product user and I chose the new Fold 8 because of the form factor. The phone is the exact size of a Travel passport albeit a few mm thicker. I can hold the phone in my back pocket without it sticking out. I like that I can do most of my tasks using the apps on the cover screen because of the larger size. The rest of the phone features are what Samsung is known for. As for any negatives, I have owned previous Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Fold phones versions and have had cover screen and screen issues. Hopefully Samsung has figured out to avoid the problem in it's 8th version of the phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to buy the Z Fold 8 because of the form factor. I've wanted a folding phone for a long time, but the crease in the middle and their size put me off. With the Fold 8, that changed. The passport size of the device and titanium inner screen are just amazing! The clarity of both the outer and inner screens are amazing! Video, text and artwork are equally vivid and easy on the eyes. Magazines, graphic novels, and online content fit perfectly into the inner screen. I haven't been this impressed with a phone since the S23 Ultra cameras. I would recommend the Z Fold 8 to anyone wanting an amazing device that is a pleasure to use for pretty any reason.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because of the new form factor. I had the Flip's, from the Flip2 to the Flip5, because I missed having a compact phone, but the Fold (now "Fold Ultra") was always glaring at me in the distance, judging like a Shiba Inu, as if saying "You'll never get this! You'll never get this! La-la-la" but it was just too large and heavy. Fast forward to the Fold8, the perfect "happy medium," that "just right" bowl of porridge that I couldn't pass up, and... Wow! I'm glad that I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold8 now. Today, Samsung, I break the cage, "I get this!" and I high-five you. The bigger battery is very nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I was a little nervous switching to a foldable, but I am SO glad I did. The biggest win for me is the front screen—you can actually type on it normally with one hand now without making a million typos! Opening it up feels like magic every single time. It’s perfect for watching YouTube, reading, or having two apps open side-by-side. It’s also way thinner and lighter in my pocket than I expected. Battery easily lasts me all day with normal use. If you’re on the fence, just get it! Pros: Cover screen feels normal, super fun to watch videos on, fits easily in pockets. Cons: A bit of an investment, but totally worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Fold user for three years now, so I've watched this line grow up. The Z Fold8 is the first one that feels genuinely finished, not just "improved." The crease is basically a non-issue now, the hinge feels tight and confident, and the main display is finally thin and light enough that I forget I'm holding a folding phone at all. Compared to my first Fold, this generation nails the things that used to be compromises — weight, durability, cover-screen usability — without giving up what made the form factor worth the switch in the first place. For anyone who's been on the fence through the early generations: this is the one that justifies the wait.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 because this is exactly the kind of foldable phone I’ve been waiting for. I really like the new wider design—it feels compact and comfortable when folded, but once you open it, you get a beautiful large screen that feels like having a mini tablet in your pocket. The phone is surprisingly light and thin for a foldable, and the overall design feels much more practical for everyday use. The large inner display is great for watching videos, browsing, reading, and multitasking. For me, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 finally feels like the right balance between a smartphone and a tablet. I’m really happy I chose it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mate, they finally nailed the design. Previous foldables always felt like carrying a heavy, chunky brick, but this thing is crazy light and slim. When it’s shut, the front screen doesn't feel like a skinny remote control anymore—you can actually type properly on it with one hand without hitting the wrong letters every two seconds. Then you open it up, and the inside screen is wider, so YouTube and Netflix don't have massive black bars, and reading web pages just feels right. It looks super slick in person, charges noticeably faster when you're in a rush, and easily slips into normal pockets without dragging your pants down.

I wanted a change in my Samsung experience, and so far, I absolutely love the new Fold! 📱✨ After being with Samsung for the last 15 years, I was ready for something different from the Ultra but still needed a phone that could easily handle both my personal and business needs. The Fold has been the perfect change—something completely different without sacrificing the capabilities I rely on every day. The only drawback for me is the camera compared to the Ultra, but honestly, it’s not too much of a sacrifice considering everything else the Fold offers!

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

The new size and aspect ratio is huge game changer. Swapping from the standard candybar style phone to this was interesting, but we'll worth it. The fact that the whole phone can fit in my hand while closed is one of my favorite things and if I need a larger screen, it's just one fold away. The 4:3 aspect ratio of the inside screen is great for videos and even playing games, especially rhythm games! The battery seems to last pretty much as long as the S26U I traded in, so that's great. Some apps need to be updated by their developers, but overall, most apps operate perfectly on this phone. 10/10 would love to see what else Samsung could improve on this phone.

I hadn't realized the change in the name and accidentally ordered the 8 instead of the 8 ultra. I previously owned a fold 6 so I decided to trade it in for an upgrade (biggest mistake and a different story). Back to this phone. I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT! The width is uncomfortable when holding it in the closed position. The batter drains far faster than the last series. The display quality was good but it seemed to lag and become unresponsive which caused me to have to close out. I'm not sure about durability because after a week or so I decided to return it. Which started the mess I'm in now. And yes I'm still waiting on a resolution since 8/28 and today is 9/10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying the new Z Fold 8! The new shape brings comfortability and compact together into one device! I'm happy I chose to wait on upgrading until this device came out! The experience I've had consuming media on this has been great, where short form videos are the focus on the main screen, and whole TV shows or movies are enjoyable on the large inner screen. One thing I miss between the Z Fold 8 and my old Z Flip 7... flex mode! It was so convenient to prop my phone open to watch something, read a recipe while cooking, etc. I didn't want a big phone like the Z Fold 8 Ultra, so I'm missing out on that key feature.

I've been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 for my business for about a month now, and it has completely transformed my daily workflow. The expansive display is bright, sharp, and makes split-screen multitasking effortless on the go, while the lightning-fast responsiveness ensures seamless switching between demanding apps. Its re-engineered hinge feels exceptionally smooth yet rock-solid, adding a level of overall durability that holds up to heavy daily use. On top of that, the battery life consistently powers through long, intensive workdays with plenty of juice left by the evening, making it an outstanding productivity powerhouse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8. One of my favorite things is how compact and comfortable it feels when folded. The smaller size makes it much easier to hold and use with one hand, which is very convenient for everyday use. The new hinge design also feels like a nice improvement. It feels smooth and solid, and the crease on the main screen is noticeably less visible, giving the large display a cleaner and more premium look. Overall, the Fold 8 combines the convenience of a compact phone with the benefits of a large screen when you need it. Great design, easier one-handed use, improved hinge, and a better-looking main display. Very happy with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 after using five different Pixel devices over the years, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. I loved the wider passport form factor of the original Pixel Fold, and Samsung nailed that exact ergonomic sweet spot with a build that is sleeker, lighter, and more refined. The outer screen feels natural for everyday one-handed use, while opening it up provides an incredible canvas for multitasking and productivity. What brought me over is that Samsung has continued to innovate and push hardware engineering forward with each generation. The hardware feels premium, fast, and remarkably durable. Cannot recommend this phone enough!

My birthday is tomorrow and after unboxing, I cannot think of a better birthday present. I chose to be part of the z series family starting with the fold 2. I have always been...ok....with it's tall form factor but secretly admired the shape of the pixel fold. When they announced the fold 8....I knew I had to choose this one. Folds are .ore than just an option, they are a multitask necessity. I have chosen to continue being a good user and I do not think I will go back. Great job samsung! Proud to be a galaxy fan since the s2 and Samsung user since the blackjack 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using the Z fold 8 for over a month now and there's nothing I don't like about it so far. The front screen is a great size and is easier to adjust to than anticipated, I soon found it preferential to a previous full size phone screen. Lots of great unexpected features like the call back reminder if you can't take a call, however the star of the show is the large fold out screen, amazing for media and love being able to have 2 apps accessible simultaneously such as calendar with another app that you're looking at dates on. Very responsive overall, comfortable in the hand or tuckef into smaller pockets and plenty of features, very happy with purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best updated, most unique designed mobile that totally shines above all the rest! Samsung Fold 8 is amazing. Fits so snuggly in your hand. Is slim lined and a good light weight. Most impressed in the battery life and easy fit in your purse or pocket size. Photos are sharp, bright and clear. Love the fold out larger screen and amazing apps to use. Can chat to friends on Messenger on one side while scrolling media on the left. Being older and not too techy I've found the Samsung Fold 8 easy to use and navigate. Even my hubby bought one! Five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🙂 (Something to make it better for me 🤔 A 200mp camera 📷 ).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I didnt have a big issue with the narrow nature of the fold7, it wasn't fully ideal to use. Often times I did use the inner screen more. With the fold8, I find myself using both screens evenly. I love consuming social media through the inner screen. My main reason for getting it was the long tablet feel of using the inner screen in portrait form. And it has not disappointed at all. I did worry about apps not working given other reviews, but none of my apps have had any conflicts or issues. The software has definitely prepared to make sure most apps work properly with both screens. 10/10 would recommend. Ps: this would be amazing with a 6000 mAH battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the winning design of foldable phones for my work phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is perfect. A foldable phone that is truly usable folded or Not! I'm in the IT industry and use it for writing bpml, and searching for solutions. When i find documentation that I need to read I unfold and rotate and read like its a good book by the fire. Then when I'm off work it's great for social media and keeping up with world events. From multitasking to email to listening to music. Was concerned about the small passport size and fitting in my jean pocket. But it's not a problem. Fits like a charm, no issues. Well done Samsung!

I purchased one for my wife and subsequently acquired one for myself. The form factor is exceptional, unparalleled by other devices. Having owned numerous Samsung products, I can confidently state that this model surpasses all previous iterations. Its compact size, reminiscent of a passport, represents an ideal design for mobile phones. The battery life extends throughout the day, and the hinge mechanism demonstrates robust construction. The display offers pristine clarity in both closed and open configurations, and the device exhibits remarkable speed and responsiveness. Overall, it is a durable and solidly built phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Z fold 6 for 2 years and very happy with the durability however the weight of 239 grams is still on the heavy side and the almost square aspect ratio of the inner screen is not made for media consumption. The best feature is the under camera display which give the z fold 6 an immersion experience. I chose to upgrade to Z fold 8 due to its new aspect ratio format bothe the outer and inner display. It does not have the udc inside camera but I am willing to trade the feature for a more thinner and a lot lighter z fold 8. Also the almost invisible inner screen crease have me sold. Thank you Samsung for making such a fine polished product. Happy to recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could do more without feeling like I was carrying a tablet around. My favorite thing about it is the size—it’s compact and easy to carry when it’s folded, but opens up to give me a much bigger screen when I need it. I use it every day for work, answering emails, staying organized, multitasking, and keeping up with everything I need on the go. I also use it for streaming, social media, photos, and everyday things. The larger screen makes work so much easier, while the smaller folded size makes it convenient to take with me everywhere. It really gives me the best of both worlds, and I love how versatile it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my flip 6 to the new Fold 8 because I find myself using my mobile for more than content creation. A big part is office work on the go including Teams, Outlook and CRM activities. With its new form factor it's easy to run a meeting and then do my email follow ups. Using social media apps are a breeze and the expanded display is vivid and smooth visually. The camera works great and the pictures are are crisp looking even in lower light. I love how the front screen is super useful and can run apps, get notifications without having to open the full phone. So far it's a great phone. The future of mobility is here and it's brought to you by Samsung.

It's been little over a week since I received Z fold 8 and I have been really impressed with it. The design feels slimmer and more refined, while still giving you the convenience of a phone that opens into a much larger screen. The large inner display is excellent for watching videos, browsing the web, multitasking, and using multiple apps at the same time. The outer screen is also much more comfortable to use for everyday tasks. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is an impressive upgrade and feels very premium. This is one of the best foldable phones and mini-tablet in one device, it is very expensive but totally worth it.

I have the Fold 7, and I upgraded to this phone because of its new design, which is wider and shorter. It's very convenient for carrying in my pocket. The outer screen is a good size with great resolution and good connection. I love the body of the phone. I went with the pistachio and love it. I would love it more if they had offered the Fold 8 in violet shadow. Unfolded, it's perfect for social media and video streaming—no more huge black bars when watching a movie, very thin when unfolded and not heavy. Love the super-fast charge. Overall, loving the phone. Definitely recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never cared about the camera or s-pen support. I just wanted a bigger screen when I wanted it. But the old Zfold models struggled with certain types of content. I am a big manga reader and the zfold qas great for manga, that said it always had wasted space. When I played games like Pokemon Pocket, it had those ugly black bar letterboxing, reading manga it was there, youtube videos it was horrible and for movies I would honestly not find a significant difference with just using the cover display. I chose the Zfold 8 because for what I use my phone for on the daily, my gaming, reading, content consumption and just generally using my phone has become so much better.

Saw the announcement drop, saw the design and knew rightaway, Samsung Zfold 8 was perfect phone for me. It's compact, when folded- its compact enough to fit in my small hand and back of my pocket. When unfolded, it's a size of mini ipad where I can enjoy my shows. I can do everything on the front screen when folded without ever needing to open the entire phone. This felt like the perfect phone I was waiting for and I know I made the right decision when I chose to purchase the Samsung Zfold8. The compatibility, design, functionality, Samsung got it all right with this new Zfold8.

It is great for me because I do a lot of work on their phone. The issue I have is how fast it heats up. I had 2 app running on both screen and in less than 20 mins it gave me over heating message. I did update the software as advised, but still feel that it still heats up pretty fast. I took off the thin Samsung case to let it cool down too. I have not tried opening 2 apps on screen since the update. It feel a little warm even with just one app running but not as bad. I guess I will see if this will be my one and only fold phones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Z Fold 8 from the Z Fold 6, and never have I enjoyed an upgrade so much in my life. I love the new shape, the lighter weight, the overall utility, and the displays on this phone. For the first time ever, I actually find myself using the cover screen regularly—something I virtually never did on my old Z Fold 6 because of its narrow, awkward feel. The data transfer and transition process wasn't as seamless as I would have liked, but once that setup bump was out of the way, it became a non-issue. The daily experience with the Z Fold 8 is simply fantastic, and making the switch was 100% worth it.

The Fold 8 genuinely feels like the foldable concept fully realized. The outer screen finally works like a normal phone instead of a narrow remote, and unfolding it reveals a gorgeous canvas with a crease that is practically invisible. Multitasking across split screens is effortless, and the cameras finally hold their own against traditional flagship slabs without compromise. My only real wish is for a beefier battery, as powering that massive inner display during heavy workdays drains juice quickly enough that I still find myself hunting for a charger before the evening is over. It remains an absolute powerhouse, but a bit more endurance would make it near perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 for the unique form factor. So far, I am extremely happy with my choice. The problem with book style foldables is that the square form factor when opened, isn't so great for gaming if you like larger fields of view. Video content is also the same size as the unfolded primary screen. The Z Fold 8 changes that. When unfolded, it's basically a slightly smaller iPad Mini in screen size and aspect ratio. Meaning playing games is more enjoyable, and watching video content is much better than on a book style foldable. The shorter form factor and cover screen makes it more pocketable and easier to use one handed. It's also still a pretty enjoyable experience watching videos. Multi tasking on the interior screen is also GREAT. I sometimes have 3 apps going at once and never does the phone slow down of give me issues doing so. This is absolutely the form factor for me, and I'll happily stick with it as long as Samsung keeps making it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered it during the pre launch and have been really impressed with it overall. It’s a great size and surprisingly light. Some of the native apps don’t open perfectly in the current aspect ratio when the phone is closed, but once you open it up and turn it to portrait, it becomes a long, large scrolling page, which I really like. Honestly, I’m a bit tired of manufacturers constantly changing the cameras. I think they should have left this one alone. Lost the 30x zoom. That sucks Overall, it’s a great phone. The size and weight are excellent, and the functionality is really good. Very happy with it so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8, and switching to this wider aspect ratio is an absolute game changer. Closed, the front screen feels like a normal phone instead of a narrow strip, making it so much easier to type fast, check messages, and scroll without constantly having to unfold it. Unfolded, the main display is massive, bright, and perfect for multitasking or running two apps side-by-side. The phone feels noticeably lighter and thinner in your hand, and the crease down the middle is way less visible than on older models. Battery life easily gets me through a full, busy day, and performance is fast and smooth.

I have been disappointed in their functionality as of late, and have grown weary of them after some of underpreforming. Then this beautiful masterpiece was released and I have been obsessed about it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Fold 8 to try the new size, but I am disappointed by the losses on the camera quality starting around 20ft away. In addition, the half folds (L shape) or tent fold (A Shape), don't seem to work that well. It actually measure up well next to my Fold 3, so I turn it long ways to type better, as the wide screen makes the keyboard too long for me. I also miss the full size of the cover screen. It severely displaced my home screen and spit the icons up weirdly over the other panels. Like the left over icons from panel 1, didn't simply get pushed to panel 2? I want to see if I can switch to the Fold 8 Ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8 because I wanted a phone that could also give me a larger screen when I need it. I’ve been really happy with it so far! The large foldable display is great for multitasking, browsing the web, watching videos, and getting work done on the go. I especially like being able to use multiple apps at the same time, which makes the phone much more useful for both work and everyday life. The screen looks beautiful, the phone feels fast and responsive, and I really enjoy the flexibility of switching between the cover screen and the larger inner display. I’m very happy that I chose the Galaxy Z Fold8!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to purchase a new handset this month and I am very pleased to share that i am so excited and happy with my new device. It was remarkably easy to set up and transfer from my old device. I think the new passport size and shape is awesome. I plan to use it to search the web to gain new knowledge of how things work, also to manage my email and for work and entertainment. I think this new development is just too cool. Loving the lavender finish. The giant screen makes watching crochet tutorials on Youtube much easier to see. I think I'm going to accomplish great things with my new handset, it has such a great camera to help me capture and share pictures thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new design and functionality of the phone. The single screen is sufficient for me to do a lot of work without needing to open the full screen size. Of course the double screen helps when working on my VM machine. Only flaw is that the single screen you are unable to control the viewing dimensions, so for reading and older people like me, this becomes a slight issue. Of course you can open the double screen and that would solve it. So small flaw in the UX. Regardless, I would still recommend the phone. Good speed, sharp and clear images and certainly feels robust enough to handle someone rough like me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this phone as my daily driver since I received it from Easy Club Mode. I had initially decided to skip it because the price is quite steep. However, after using this phone for the past three weeks, my mind has changed because it is so comfortable to use, despite having such a large screen; it is worth every penny. The media consumption on this phone is fantastic, and it has made me use it much more, rather than going to the computer as I used to. The battery life is excellent; it consistently lasts me all day without ever running out, even during heavy use. I have previously used the candy-sized phone, and this new form factor definitely surpasses it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing foldable phone with so much versatility! Although this phone does not have the best camera system compared to the s26ultra, it was not a deal breaker for all the other great features. The smaller folded phone is great for nearly everything. Opening the phone is convenient when you need more space. I do not feel like this phone is missing much. The phone is durable closed or open. The crease is off no consequence as you do not see it when you are using it. Yes it exists but only noticable viewing from oblique angle, and who uses a phone like that. The battery lasts all day, charges quickly when plugged in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never wanted a foldable due to the ratio. I chose fold 8 because of its ratio. Used blackberry passport before so it feels natural to me. Pros Ratio. You don't need to rotate the phone to watch something. Reading Manga or books is also great. With a proper app you can even have a flip animation to feel more like physical book. Barely noticeable crease. You don't really see it unless you try to look for it. Side button fingerprint works so much better than in screen one like s25 ultra. Cons Speakers are weak and could be positioned better. I would recommend this to someone who consumes a lot of media and books.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its been a best phone experience so far. Very lightweight and verstile for everyday use. Have been another brand's phone user and once switching to this phone, i think i might not switch back anymore. The price point for this phone is worth every penny which this phone provides. Do not hesitate, once you head down to the showroom to give it a try, you will be firstly hooked by how slim it is and next how crystal sharp the phone is. This phone is truly one of its kind and the screen size is amazinf and groundbreaking. Have been using it for a month and it does help me alot for browsing email and opening up documents. No issue with everything and hardly to find any flaws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been thinking about getting a fold for a few years now. But every time I would hold the typical tablet size fold in my hand, it just didn't feel right. My thought process was that I would probably end up using the phone closed more than open, and therefore I would have a thicker phone most of the time. When the fold 8 came out, I was intrigued because it had a smaller form factor when closed. And the thickness when closed is not that much thicker than a regular phone. Therefore, I chose to get the fold 8 instead of the fold 8 Ultra. I have not been excited for a phone in a really long time. It's such a great form factor, I think this is the future of foldables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After moving from the S23 ultra to the S25-Edge, I chose to venture into the world of foldables and my ultimate choice was the galaxy fold 8. From my perspective this litte wonder checked all the boxes I was looking for. The size, weight, processor and upgraded storage capacity affords me the opportunity to accomplish all the task required during the day. Normally during daily usage, I end up with 68 percent of battery still remaining. That's great compared to my previous phone but more importantly it has the same thin footprint and capable of folding outward in times of viewing videos and etc. Samsung hit it out of the park with this new form factor. I love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year, I chose to upgrade from z fold 7 to z fold 8, and I'm so glad I did so! I've been waiting for Samsung to release the passport form factor. The phone feels great in the pocket and in the hand this way. And when you unfold it, you have two distinct orientations that are each suited to their own applications: vertical is great for social media feeds, reading webpages and articles; whereas horizontal is great for multitasking and watching media. I hope THIS form factor gets the ultra moniker next time around, as I have a feeling many people are going to share my opinion that this is the superior form factor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z Fold 8 is great to hold and has better accessibility for people with shorter fingers. I have longer hands than many others, and I have no issues reaching every corner of the phone without trying. I have been buying Z Folds for many years, starting with the Z Fold 3, primarily for watching videos and drawing, and when it's unfolded, the phone is a great size and shape for that. I don't multitask on them that much, but the shape definitely makes it better, with each app being able to be wider than it was on the older Folds (and now the Fold Ultra). Would recommend it, especially since it's the cheaper option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been waiting for over 8 years ever since foldable phones first appeared on the market to finally make the jump, and the wait was well worth it. Using this device, you can genuinely feel the depth of thought and the years of engineering Samsung poured into finding the ultimate, optimised design. While other brands seem to have lost interest in slimming things down or pushing hardware boundaries, the Fold 8 nails what matters most. It is remarkably thin and wonderfully lightweight. It completely changes how a large-screen device feels in the hand. If you've been holding out for a foldable that finally hits the sweet spot of refined design and everyday practicality, this is the one.
