CAMERA
Solo or squad. Hands-free
For the everyday photographer, Galaxy Z Flip8's 50 MP camera lets you frame what feels right in the moment, and every shot is just how you saw it. FlexCam lets you go hands-free, picking up the details that actually matter — true skin tone and real texture.
Switch up your POVs as you go. Flip into FlexMode and activate Auto Zoom to get everyone in the shot, change to a camcorder grip for videos or use Dual Preview so others can see themselves as you shoot. Switch to portrait mode and the rear cameras work together to create an effect called stereo bokeh. Powered by AI that's been trained on DSLR imagery, it adds natural depth while keeping the subject as it should be.,,
A selfie is seen being taken on the cover screen of Galaxy Z Flip8. Zooming out, the device is seen in FlexMode. The background blurs slightly to keep the focus on the subjects.
SUPER STEADY VIDEO
Super steady even on the run
If you're a vlogger that enjoys creating POV content, make moments feel more valuable with Super Steady's Horizontal Lock. It automatically detects the horizon to keep your frame level, even if your camera rotates a full 360°. Use camcorder grip for added stability when shooting others or use the FlexCam preview when shooting selfies, and lock in steadier footage every time.
Galaxy Z Flip8 is being held like a camcorder to shoot two friends having fun and running outdoors. Super Steady's Horizontal Lock feature keeps the footage level.
POV: your Flip is more than just a phone
-
Flip Shot
Now you can take mirror selfies with an added part of you. Use Flip Shot to customise your cover screen background with your favorite pictures, drawings or even write a message to express yourself while snapping.

Dual Recording
Create dynamic content that shows different perspectives at once. Activate a split view that can appear on both FlexWindow and on the main screen, so you and your subject can preview the video at the same time for perfectly synced shots. Then, share without editing so reliving the moment is just as easy as capturing it.
A Dual Recording video shows both the user and their subject doing matching poses in a top-to-bottom split view on the main screen of an unfolded Galaxy Z Flip8.

Huge congratulations on your new Z Fold8 Ultra, Alex. We're delighted to hear that you can see and feel the massive upgrades to the hinge mechanism, the display brightness and anti-reflective properties, and the 200 MP Camera. We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra! The stunning display delivers a massive peak brightness of 3,000 nits with super vibrant colours, and the dual-cell 5,000 mAh battery delivers strong performance even on the busiest of days. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor ensures lightning-fast responsiveness, and it's fantastic to know that this model is generating plenty of "wow" reactions when you unfold it! We appreciate your feedback about the viewing experience when using streaming apps, and the ability to fine-tune the zoom level between the current aspect ratio options. Customer feedback plays an important role in helping us to shape improvements, and we'll ensure your suggestions are shared with the relevant teams. Great to see you are enjoying the Z Fold8 Ultra! Once you get used to the magnificent inner 8.0" display, you quickly wonder how you ever lived without it. The Snapdragon processor runs this model like a dream, giving you smooth and speedy performance, and making sure that you get as much life as possible from each charge of the 5,000 mAh battery. The transformative design is a real showstopper, with the phone unfolding to be completely flat, and folding to be just 8.9 mm thick, making it super convenient to carry. With further usage, we're sure that the incredible possibilities of Galaxy AI will wow you! ^SK at Samsung Support

Congratulations on your upgrade to the Z Flip8. We're glad you are enjoying the compact form factor and the more powerful processor, the Galaxy-customised Exynos 2600. Whilst the battery is 4300 mAh, it's an all-new silicon-carbon dual-cell battery and is heavily supported and enhanced by both the processor and Galaxy AI. We're sorry to hear that your phone is getting hot while using Android Auto on long journeys. Whilst Android Auto uses multiple heavy tasks simultaneously, we recommend moving the phone away from direct sunlight and using an A/C vent clip mount rather than a windscreen mount. When mounted to the vents, your car's A/C will cool the phone and allow it to operate correctly in the hot summer sun. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our helpful Support Teams for further assistance, and you can find our contact details and opening times here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/ ^EW at Samsung Support

We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying the beautiful and virtually creaseless display of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra when compared with your previous Galaxy Z Fold4, Bob. It's also great to hear that the our latest and most powerful Galaxy Z Fold device is already proving to be a capable everyday device and that you're appreciating its remarkably slim design. We understand your comments about the phone feeling slippery when used unfolded, and your preference for a protective case that could offer additional grip and functionality. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the S Pen and the type of accessory you'd like to see available. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra does not currently support the S Pen. Removing S Pen functionality has allowed Samsung to focus on making the Fold8 thinner and lighter, while also creating more internal space for powerful components and other aspects of the device. We appreciate that an integrated stylus would still be a valuable feature for some customers. At present, we don't offer a single accessory that combines S Pen storage, a stand and RFID/card storage in one case. However, we'll make sure your feedback regarding protective accessories and integrated functionality is shared with the relevant teams. In the meantime, you can find all the official cases and covers for the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra directly on this link: https://www.samsung.com/uk/aisearch/?searchvalue=galaxy%20z%20fold8%20ultra We hope you continue to enjoy your amazing foldable device and discover even more of what this latest generation has to offer. ^CL at Samsung Support
