Key features at a glance

Greatness comes in small things

Micro RGB Technology

Using a micro-sized RGB colour backlight, Samsung Micro RGB TVs deliver true-to-life colours with remarkable accuracy. Combined with local dimming technology that precisely controls RGB colour and brightness, the images on the screen come alive with incredible richness and depth.

Picture Quality

Colours come alive with the AI Engine

Micro RGB AI Engine

See shades refined with intelligent processing. By leveraging AI to precisely control each RGB colour, the Micro RGB AI Engine helps create overwhelmingly vivid picture quality.1

Compared to 2026 Neo QLED 4K (NQ4 AI Processor)

Realistic picture with accurate colours

Micro RGB Precision Colour 100

Through Micro RGB Technology and the Micro RGB AI Engine, Samsung Micro RGB TV achieves the world's first 100% BT.2020 Wide Colour Gamut coverage. Certified by VDE for Micro RGB Precision Colour, it ensures colours are finely and precisely controlled for a viewing experience that is nearly indistinguishable from reality.2

More about
Picture Quality

Unmatched depth, enhanced realism and vibrant contrast

Micro RGB HDR+

Experience unparalleled contrast and colour on Samsung Micro RGB TVs. Micro RGB HDR+ enhances subtle details in both bright and dark scenes, delivering your content's original depth for a more immersive, true-to-life viewing experience. 3

Upscale content into a 4K experience

4K AI Upscaling

Watch your favourite content in more brilliant detail with 4K AI Upscaling. The Micro RGB AI Engine can take content and enhance it up to 4K resolution with 20 AI neural networks — all while maintaining sharp and smooth picture quality. 4

Richer and more vibrant colours powered by AI

Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro

Watch your content come to life with Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro. Powered by AI, this advanced colour enhancement technology intelligently recognises and enhances scenes with dull tones, providing a vivid colour experience that feels as real as seeing it in person. 5

Enjoy HDR-like quality even with SDR content

Auto HDR Remastering

Using deep learning algorithms, Auto HDR Remastering learns to identify SDR and HDR content, and then converts SDR content into brilliant HDR-like quality. Now you can enjoy brighter highlights, clearer details and more vibrant colours throughout your viewing experience. 6

Enjoy authentic colour validated by PANTONE, only on Samsung screens

PANTONE Validated

Meet fully authentic colour validated by PANTONE. As a trusted symbol of colour fidelity by industry experts, ‘PANTONE Validated’ certifies the accurate expression of 2,140 PANTONE colours and 110 skin tone shades. Enjoy more accurate, comfortable viewing on a ‘PANTONE Validated’ TV. 7

Depth perceived just as a person’s eyes would

Real Depth Enhancer

Watch the figures on screen stand out with more realism. Real Depth Enhancer increases the contrast between the objects in the foreground from the background — mirroring how a human eye processes depth. So when you're watching a nature documentary, it really looks like the rhinos are marching toward you.

A new dimension of cinematic experience with each detail intelligently optimised

HDR10+ ADVANCED goes beyond the limitations of legacy metadata to bring the creator's artistic vision to life. It delivers enhanced brightness without clipping, while advanced features-from Local Tone Mapping to Intelligent Motion Smoothing-work seamlessly together to enrich colour and reveal strikingly lifelike detail. Genre-based optimisation further fine-tunes the picture for every type of content. The result is a truly elevated entertainment experience, every time.8

5 Stars – Excellent TV I’m extremely happy with the Samsung 75" R85H Micro RGB TV. The picture quality is fantastic, with excellent colours, sharp detail and great contrast. The 75" screen is perfect for watching movies, sport and TV, and the picture looks especially impressive in 4K. The TV was also very easy to set up and the Samsung smart features are simple to use. The 144Hz refresh rate makes a noticeable difference when watching sport and playing games, with everything looking smooth and clear. Overall, it’s a great-looking TV with excellent picture quality and plenty of features. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I've really fell in love with this tv. The picture quality on the Micro RGB R85H is like nothing else I've owned. The brightness and color are the first things that stand out, I feel as though I could grab the characters from the movies I've watched. It also handles bright rooms really well during the day, what was really important for our living space. The overall design feels very premium and clean, and the smart interface has been fast and easy to use. I mainly use it for streaming movies and my favorite tv shows. Everything looks so sharp with deep contrast and great motion handling. Definitely feels like a major step up from the traditional LED TV.

I am absolutely loving my Samsung 65" R85H TV, especially because its massive brightness completely saves me from fighting with the lighting in my room. The glare-free screen is a total game-changer during the day, the auto-dimming feature adjusts perfectly to preserve solid contrast at night, and the overall screen uniformity looks clean without any distracting dark spots. Jumping between all my favorite apps is seamless, and everything looks incredibly smooth thanks to the fast refresh rate. While you might still see a tiny bit of faint glowing around bright text during pitch-black movie scenes, it is easily the most punchy, user-friendly display I've owned.

My 2026 65-inch Micro RGB LED 4K TV is a total game-changer because it finally brings spectacular display tech into a size that actually fits your living room. It has a hyper-vivid picture that shows colors you didn't even know your favorite movies had. It balances the best of both worlds: the blinding brightness and durability of an LED, so you never have to worry about burn-in, with the kind of precision and "Glare Free" finish that makes every game and show look incredibly lifelike, even in a sun-drenched room. It’s not just a screen; it’s a window into a much more colorful reality.

All I can say is WOW. I think this TV has some of these most vibrant colors I've ever seen on a screen. And I say that as both a previous 8K and Samsung Neo QLED owner. The R85H might be the best bang for the buck considering both price and quality. It's cheaper than the more premium Micro RGB R95H, yet it's got a better picture quality than Samsung's OLED and Neo QLED TVs. It hits the sweet spot of latest tech for as close to affordable as we could expect. On top of that, it has all of the smart Tizen features we've grown accustomed to expect and love with the Samsung, and it's very easy to setup and use. Highly recommend this TV for anyone who's considering the latest RGB trend. The era of Micro RGB is upon us--and I love it.

This is one of Samsung's first Micro RGB models and offers a lot of benefits. Initially I noticed some blooming but there are a lot of settings you can adjust. After a bit of adjusting and updates, it's quite impressive and much improved LED tech. Adjustments and updates made a world of difference. You'll be hard pressed to find the same colors, dark levels, and brightness on any tv out there. I like vivid colors and brightness due to a large, bright room. This set excels at both. It's REALLY hard to find such a wide color gamut, extreme peak brightness, and decent black levels that also should have no risk of burn-in. I can't wait to see additional benefits from future software updates and further development of this tech.

It was about time that I tried a TV with Tizen OS. There are other operating Systems out there, but some over time slow down or lag. When I first booted up the TV, I noticed the significant speed and ease switching through the menus and apps. The system also sports AI to help guide you to the best Sound and Display settings. A big plus is the WiFi 6E. Now I have faster speeds that are not limited to 5Ghz and is even faster than the wired ethernet connection. Love the TV, especially the Micro RGB, which I never thought would pop so much.

This tv is absolutely amazing! The color is off the charts. Love it for my sports, I’m a huge hockey fan along with football and baseball they all look amazing. I’ve paired it with my Samsung sound bar that I had purchased a couple of years ago and I’m shocked how much better the sound is with this tv paired with the sound bar. This tv is well worth the money and a huge upgrade from my older Samsung tv I had for several years.

What can I say about the best TV I have ever owned. It has everything I can ask for in a television. It has so many features that stand out next to all the TVs I have owned. The colors really pop on this TV. It really is vibrant and has great contrast. It works well in darks and bright spaces. The color separation with dark scenes really stand out and help to distinguish the dark and light parts of the screen. It seems to be OLED like. There isn’t a lot of blooming like a traditional lcd television. So the blacks look dark while the colored scenes are vibrant. The setup was simple and and the stand is versatile. You can make it narrow or wide and option to have I low or higher to accommodate a soundbar. It can even turn on by itself when you enter the room.

I upgraded from a Samsung 75-inch TV that was still working perfectly well, so this purchase wasn’t about replacing something that had problems. I wanted a noticeable improvement in the viewing experience, and this Samsung 85-inch Micro RGB delivered that. Micro RGB picture made the difference for me. It’s so noticeable that I can appreciate while watching, and it matters when the TV you already owned gave you no reason to complain. This feels like a worthwhile upgrade. Going from 75 to 85 inches adds to the experience, and together with the Micro RGB picture, it makes me glad I decided to upgrade. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. At least initially TV has lived up to what was advertised and based on my experience so far, I would happily recommend it.

I purchased this as it was the latest Micro RGB technology. The first thing is it takes a lot of colour calibration to stop unnaturally bright reds. The end result is a picture is not as good as a 15 year old LED screen. The biggest problem with the TV is that if you view it from anywhere other than directly in front - you get a completely washed out view. I purchased this after being impressed with the picture of a friends 75 inch Samsung neo QLED - this screen is far inferior despite being more expensive.

Horrible viewing experience, overpowering reds & blues throughout.. completely throws off the white balance. Yes you can change colour profiles but it’s either too vibrant/harsh or too yellow & dark, no in between. Noticeable red fringing on all sharp white edges unless you’re within 1.5 metres of the tv. Home Screen layout is also very average with a large Samsung advert straight in your face every time you click home. Do not recommend.. not to mention half of the reviews on this tv look fake.

My wife and I recently purchased an RGB 65in TV, and I have to say that we are happy with our decision. The colors are bright and vibrant, especially the reds. I enjoy a lot of action pack movie's and my wife enjoys the reality shows. The RGB experience for both preferences hit the mark. We love the AI functionality built into the Samsung Platform including a surprise 1 year Perplexity subscription installed into the user interface. This is a nice upgrade from our older Samsung 1080 60in.

We got rid of our old Samsung tv because we could not find a good remote replacement. So we bought a new one. We are very disappointed with the sound quality...hard to understand dialog most of the time and the picture quality is not as good as our old tv set.

This includes features like: o Adaptive Sound: Analyzes room acoustics and content in real time o Adaptive Volume: Maintains a consistent volume level over time o Active Voice Amplifier: Enhances dialogue when ambient noise is detected If you're looking to enhance your overall audio experience, consider adding a Samsung S- or Q-Series Soundbar (such as the HW-900H). I’ve been putting the Samsung R85H through its paces, and honestly, it completely blows standard LCD TVs out of the water. It really is a sight to see. The secret sauce is the Micro RGB backlighting which gives you insanely vibrant, lifelike colors and black levels that actually give OLED a serious run for its money. As someone who loves fast-paced action, the native 144Hz refresh rate is an absolute game-changer, keeping everything fluid and crystal clear. It is also a dream tv since it has AI and helps to make the picture stand out and bright in dark scenes. Beyond the performance, the razor-thin, bezel-less frame looks incredibly clean and modern on the wall. If you want cutting-edge picture quality and top-tier gaming features that handle whatever you throw at them, the R85H is worth every penny.

I did not give a 5 star because the soccer mode is beautiful when the scene is up close, but when the field shown in iull-screen in which soccer games are shown the screen is overblown and the players have a static like presence around them. Otherwise the TV is great, but producers are going to have to update content to really see RGB pop. I which multiview had more than two screens, and take up more of the screen landscape. Finally NFL is not to for away give us a NFL mode. Great tv
